Mental Health Awareness Week 11-17 May 2026

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 11–17 May and encourages everyone to not only raise awareness, but to take positive action to support good mental health.

Mental health affects us all at different times in our lives. Simple actions – such as talking openly about how we are feeling, taking time for self‑care, staying connected with others, and seeking support when needed – can make a real difference.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, we encourage patients to reflect on their own mental wellbeing and to check in with family, friends, or colleagues who may be struggling. Taking early action can help prevent difficulties from becoming more severe.

Support is available. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, or feel you would benefit from additional support, please contact the surgery to discuss the help available to you.
