Job: Nursing Associate

Hours: Permanent/Fixed Term Contract

Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are a key part of the NHS Long Term Plan with General Practices being a part of a network, typically covering 30,000 to 50,000 patients. These networks will provide the structure and funding for services to be developed locally, in response to the needs of the patients they serve.

Job responsibilities

The acute duties of the post holder will be negotiated with the relevant practice(s) depending on their needs, contractual obligations and the Nursing Associates’ knowledge expertise and experience.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Monitor, record, and report changes in patients conditions to the Clinical team.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote health, wellbeing, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards of care and confidentiality.
  • Carry out clinical tasks such as taking observations, performing wound care.

About us

Were a large practice (circa 19000 patient population) based in the heart of the B&NES countryside. We have a large multidisciplinary team, supported by a range of clinical modalities including nursing, a pharmacy team, physiotherapy and home visiting practitioner
